Gotrax Nova Pro Review – The Cheapest High End LED Hoverboard for Kids
In this review of the Gotrax Nova Pro hoverboard we will bring you deep insight into one of the cheapest and newest high end LED hoverboards on the market. This hoverboard maybe isn’t the best 6.5″ hoverboard for kids, but when it comes to price it has best price/value ratio. Its price of $249 fits perfectly quality of craftsmanship, design, durability and features.
The Nova Pro is all about cool design and interesting features. Even if it is not the fastest hoverboard, with the maximum speed of just 7 mph, we love it because it is one of the safest hoverboards for kids.

What to Expect From Gotrax Nova Pro?
As said earlier, it is the cheapest high end LED hoverboard for kids. This is UL2272 certified self balancing hoverboard and has UL certified electrical system meaning all electrical, battery, and charger systems are tested & certified. Even if it has maximum speed of “only” 7 mph it is more than enough for kids or first time riders for whom this hoverboard is designed. Downside part is maximum driving range of just 4 miles. After that you will need up to 5 hours to fully recharge the batteries.
The Gotrax Nova Pro has Self-balancing Mode for safety and stability of the rider while stepping on or of the hoverboard. This mode enables stable horizontal position of the board before the rider starts or finish his ride. Also, LED headlights and LED wheel rings with wormhole effect will give more edge and cool appearance to the hoverboard.
Motor, Speed, Battery and Range
One of the coolest things about the Nova Pro is its dual 400W motor (2 x 200W) which is increadible because much pricier hoverboards feature weaker motor. It is powered via 36V 2.6 Ah high capacity battery of 93,6 Wh. You can ride it as fast as 7 mph and the maximum range on a single charge is around 4 miles on full throttle, or up to 2 hours if you spare it.
