Hiboy Titan Pro Electric Scooter Review: Dual 2400 W Motor for 30 MPH

Hiboy has decided to elevate the game and introduce the whole new line of high-performing long-range electric scooters. New line of TITAN electric scooters include Titan and Titan Pro variants. High-performing electric scooters are expected to experience a real boom in demand this year with and Titan Pro will be one of the best selling models. This scooter is in rank with Apollo Explore and Varla Eagle One electric scooters and with retail price of $1,299 it is cheaper than competing models.

Between its powerful motor, speed and large battery, the Hiboy Titan Pro electric scooter has a lot going for it. What I liked the best at this powerful scooter is its suspension enabling the Titan to become urban warrior and conqueror. After all, durability is what Titan Pro is made for, so no crack, pothole or bump is going to stop it.

The Titan Pro features dual 2400 W (1200 W x 2) brushless DC motor able to deliver enough power to speed up to 30 mph. This is a real blast on wheels, especially in urban surroundings. 10-inch wheels with anti-skid tires are performing great over smooth as well as off-road terrains.

But, what I liked the most is the fact that this astonishing action-packed ride comes in at a mid-level price of $1,299, what is much less than for similar competing models.

Power, Speed and Durability

The Titan Pro electric scooter is much more than simple commuter scooter. With top speed of 30 mph it overpasses most of the commuter models available on the market. You can enjoy the ride even over off-road terrains with the same ease as urban ride.

Despite or due to the fact that Titan Pro isn’t the fastest scooter around, it offers a nice balance between speed and power on one side and comfort and ease of use on other side. However, top speed of 30 mph is more than you will probably ever need in urban environment. At these speeds I am able to run the streets in pace with traffic and without pushing my luck too far.

The Hiboy Titan Pro features 3 levels of power that can help limit your speed until mastering it. Also, you can opt for single motor mode, just push the single/dual motor button. But, I used this option only to check how it works because it is so easy to master it and than nothing expect dual motor is satisfying enough. Of course, if you are looking for longer battery life than single motor mode is the right choice, but performances and speed are going to suffer.

Battery Life

Lithium-ion battery of 48 V and 12.5 Ah is a lot of battery, but it’s not the largest out there. How long you can ride the Titan Pro on single charge is the main question. Well , it all depends on terrain, riding style, speed and motor usage. As I already said, if you choose single motor mode than the battery lasts more. Also, riding over flat terrains drains the battery much slower than the ride over slopes etc.

Reasonable riding style provides longer battery life. For me, reasonable riding style is to ride the scooter around 20 mph with no extreme uphills. This model is able to overcome uphills of 40 degrees, but in this case battery drains fast and top speed drops to 10 mph or less.

With fully charged battery Titan Pro has maximum declared range of 40 miles. However, remember that this is maximum declared range in perfect conditions, meaning over flat smooth terrains and single motor usage. Since I am not single motor driver and I like to speed up my maximum range is between 20 and 25 miles. It is more than I have expected and I am pleasantly surprised. Of course, with full throttle all the time (don’t worry, you won’t be using full throttle to often) I’d probably get worse range.

And one important info, after the battery runs out of juice you need 9 hours to fully recharge the battery.

Full Suspension and Comfort

With dual 2400 W motor Titan Pro offers plenty of power and full front and rear suspension provides a comfortable ride.

Although the Titan Pro is primarily a scooter intended for urban driving, you can climb hills and roll over rough terrain that would foil most city scooters. It features wide big deck to spread your feet out on, and a rear platform for your back foot, if you like to ride faster for extra stability.

The Hiboy Titan Pro has large 10-inch air-filled tires and springs on both front and rear wheel. These features only add to the comfort and confidence this scooter offers. Those spring shocks provide plenty of suspension and work nicely on both the street and trail, but avoid giant potholes. After all, this is just a scooter, not a tank.

Foldable Design

The Titan Pro is durable electric scooter featuring forged aluminium frame. Its weight is around 62 lbs, so it is not so easy to carry it around. It feels well made and solid beneath you.

It has compact and foldable design which can help the scooter squeeze into tighter places for transport or storage. The folding mechanism uses a metal catch providing fast fold/unfold feature.

Final Verdict

The Hiboy Titan Pro feels like a well manufactured, durable and easy to use electric scooter with some great features like 30 mph top speed, dual 2400 W motor and disc brakes..

It is not the best electric scooter available, but it offers more than some competing models that cost much more than Titan Pro. Comfortable ride, 10-inch tires and full suspension is all you can ask for. doesn’t offer any crazy or super fancy features, but it is solidly made and has the specs to compete.

Also, if you are looking to spend less, there is Hiboy Titan electric scooter that costs only $899. It’s the part of Titan series of electric scooters by Hiboy, but this variant features only 800 W motor.
