Hunting electric bikes have become a recognizable sign of the modern hunter. These electric two-wheelers have extremely advanced functions and are equipped with powerful batteries and motors allowing hunters to move quickly and silently during the hunt.

Fat Tire all-terrain tires let them to pass all obstacles without any problems, from sand, branches, snow, rocks to hard forest paths. Hunting electric bikes have a number of advantages over pick-ups, dirt bikes, ATVs and quads and are becoming an increasingly popular piece of hunting equipment. They are most often used as a last mile hunting vehicle because the silent electric motor allows the hunter to approach the prey unnoticed.

Some of the main reasons to buy hunting electric bike are:

  • Electric bikes are environmentally friendly and the same thing is with hunting eBikes; Every real hunter takes care of nature
  • While riding electric bike hunter stays in direct contact with nature
  • They are cheaper for maintenance than quads, pick-ups, ATVs and dirt bikes; You don’t have additional gas cost
  • The hunter moves much faster and covers more square miles than when walking; Hunting electric bikes are moving fast, sometimes faster than 30 mph, so the hunter is also faster than on foot: The hunter needs just a fraction of time for checking trail cameras or to change his location
  • The hunter can take more hunting gear with him
  • With hunting electric bikes it’s easier to overcome hard terrains
  • Finally, the hunter moves silently, so the prey cannot react in time to its approach

Now, get ready, because today I’m listing my top 5 favorite hunting electric bikes.

#1 Rungu Dualie Double Wheeled Long Range Hunting Electric Bike

At first glance at the Rungu Dualie it’s obvious that it differs from other hunting electric bikes in this review. The main and obvious difference is in dual front wheels. The name also derives from this feature, Dualie = Dual Wheels.

Rungu Dualie Hunting Electric Bike

There are actually two e-bikes in the series, Rungu Dualie offering a 4.7″ wide tires and with maximum range of 151 miles and Rungu Dualie XR with 4.8″ wide tires and maximum range of 36 miles on a single charge.

Whit this kind of autonomy hunters are able to cover huge areas and thanks to 3 off-road wheels instead of two there is no terrain to hard for Dualie. Better stability, more traction and faster ride are enabled thanks to double wheel feature.

All Variants of Dualie are using Bafang 1120 W mid drive motors powered by 52 V 15 Ah (30 Ah at Dualie XR Rubicon Trail Edition) Lithium batteries. Maximum speed goes up to 24 mph. Dualie has 3 riding mode, throttle only (maximum range on this mode is 36 miles at the average speed of 10 mph), pedal assist mode and pedal only mode.

And, all variants of Rungu Dualie are with 2 years warranty.

#2 BAKCOU Mule Elite Hunting Electric Bike

Second on the list is the BAKCOU Mule Elite from BAKCOU Bikes. This model is actually available in two variants — the standard BAKCOU Mule Elite or the BAKCOU Mule Elite Hunter Package.

The major difference between these two variants is that the BAKCOU Mule Elite Hunting Package comes with a cargo trailer attachable to the bike frame, so you can carry extra equipment (check all accessories for BAKCOU hunting bikes here). Cargo trailer is great addition to the Mule Elite because you can carry fast and without problem extra cargo (equipment or hunted pray). Also, you can use back rack to add BAKCOU pannier bagpack which is great for carrying hunting accessories like binoculars, tools etc.

Both variants offer a great ride with a 750 W or 1000 W motor in several color and camo patterns. I like the best badlands camo pattern, but you can get them in white, matte black, desert tan, or Kuiu vrede camo. They use Bafang Ultra M620 750w/1000w mid-drive Motor with Torque Sensor powered with Panasonic 48v battery pack. When it comes to battery there are 3 variants in 14.5ah, 17.4ah, and 21ah. I recommend the latest since it will provide longer riding time and better performances.

Delfast Bikes

Maximum range of BAKCOU Mule Elite is 40+ miles on a single charge, depending on your riding style and terrain. However, since its frame has 18″ crossbar this model is for riders tall 5’9″ to 6’4″. Shorter riders should use BAKCOU Mule Step Through, which is the same bike, but with lower crossbar. This bike gets you the same awesome ride of the bigger Mule Elite, yet in a smaller package.

#3 BAKCOU Storm Hunting Electric Bike

The only reason why i’ve putted BACOU Storm on third position is its price of $ 5,198 which is a whole $1,000 more than Mule Elite. But for that extra buck you will get extra features.

BAKCOU Storm Matte Black

The Storm features the same Panasonic 48v battery as the Mule Elite. The only difference is that at the Storm it comes in two variants, 17.4ah and 21ah. It features the same Bafang Ultra M620 750w/1000w mid-drive Motor w/integrated Torque Sensor. You are probably asking yourself where is the difference. First off all, the Storm has larger frame with 19″ crossbar and full front and rear suspension. Also, it has Tektro HD E750 Quad Piston Hydraulic 203mm on both wheels. Other features are more or less similar to the Mule Elite.

#4 Rambo Rebel 1000W Truetimber XPC Electric Hunting Bike

The Rambo Rebel Truetimber XPC is a real and true hunting electric bike. It features Bafang BBSHD high-torque motor of 1000 W. This gives him raw power that will come in handy on off-road terrains during the hunt. As a power source it uses the Samsung 48V 21AH which allows it to reach a maximum range of 20 miles in throttle only mode, and if you use pedal assist mode the maximum range is significantly increased.

Rambo Rebel Truetimber

Extra wide fat tires of 26″ x 4.0″ simply tread on everything in front of them and provide excellent support on various terrains. The Rambo Rebel is pretty huge with its 19″ frame. The frame is made of high quality aluminium alloy 6061 keeping its overall weight just bellow 70 lbs. So, there will be no problem if you need to carry it for a portion of a road.

I just like this kind of electric bikes with large fat tires because they feel so comfy during the ride. The comfort is enhanced even more with integrated front air suspension inside front fork. If the battery runs out you can use pedal only mode and 11-speed SRAM NX Rear Derailleur will give you all necessary assist for easier riding.

Rambo Rebel just looks great and it is one of the most wanted hunting electric bikes.

#5 Quietkat Ranger Hunting Electric Bike

The Quietkat Ranger is the cheapest hunting eBike in this review. But, as I always say different eBikes make the list for different reasons. And the Ranger is on this list because it is half the price of the previous models.

But you know what? The bike still works quite well. For $3000, the Ranger gives you a 750 W/1000 W Bafang hub-drive motor (depending on variant) and a 48v/11.6ah Panasonic battery.

It features slightly narrower 26″ x 4.5″ fat tires, but they still look great and there is enough drip and stability while riding it. As expected, lower price means some cutbacks, but nothing to be worried about. It uses mechanical 180mm Rotor brakes. Beside fat tires additional suspension is provided with front fork integrated spring coil hydraulic suspension.

The lower price doesn’t mean the quality isn’t on its highest. High quality frame, maximum load capacity of 325 lbs and maximum driving range of 23 miles on throttle only mode. The mileage doubles on pedal assist mode. All of this confirms that the Quietkat Ranger is one of the best hunting electric bikes.
