Turboant M10 Design and Main Features
The Turboant M10 is not the best electric scooter on the market, but it is great affordable solution for the beginners, teenagers and those looking for practical scooters for everyday use. Its stability and a good workmanship for the price lower than $450 is what makes this electric scooter so desirable.
Comfort, Stability and Tires
I was pleasantly surprised with its agility and stability, like I am riding some more expensive scooters (Apollo Light, Hiboy NEX3 and Ninebot E45). It delivers a superbly stable ride that has the presence of a high-performance scooter at an entry-level price. There is an obvious compromise concerning comfort since this model comes without suspension. However, it is expected for budget electric scooters. The people from Turboant have tried to overcome this problem with 10″ pneumatic tires, and I must say that they are working perfectly in urban surroundings and flat terrains.
Also, the progressive profile tires are providing exceptional stability and enable the rider to carve around corners and ride the scooter with ease. The extra stability comes from wider tire profile with 30% more rubber on the road than the narrower tires.
I believe that a kickstand is not an option anymore and the M10 is equipped with this useful accessory. It works well and serves the purpose.
Foldable and Portable Design
The M10 is an ultralight and portable electric scooter weighing 30 lbs. And thanks to its one touch folding mechanism you will need no more than 3 second to fold it and carry it around when needed. When it comes to weight, it’s a subjective feeling meaning some would not call the M10 an ultralight, as it’s heavier than some others in its class. It all depends on a person’s strength, but everyone can easily take it up the stairs or into the trunk.
Cockpit
The cockpit of the M10 is minimalist with super clean lines and clear and uncluttered display, making it simple for beginners to figure out. Centraly positioned display shows battery status, speed mode, current speed and light status. Everything is right in front of the rider so he can easily track all important info.

When it comes to controls, they’re perfect for first-time riders. The braking handle is placed on the left side as well as a bell, and on the right side is ergonomically position finger triggered throttle.
Lights
For better visibility and more security for night rides the M10 is equipped with 2W LED headlight and a tailight. This way you’ll be seen on the road.
Standing Deck
Standing deck could be wider and if you have bigger feet it becomes crowded on it. But, for teenagers and smaller adults it is just perfect. It is ruberized with linear threads and a Turboant logo in the center of the deck.
Motor, Battery, Speed and Range
The M10 is equipped with 350 W motor powered with 36 V, 7,5 Ah Li-ion 270 Wh battery pack. It means that this is not the most powerful and fastest electric scooter available. Some may call it to slow, but believe me, top speed of 20 mph is more than enough in urban areas. Probably you won’t be even going on a top speed at all.
It has 3 speed modes: Beginner, Eco and Sports. If you choose Beginner Mode than the maximum speed is only 6 mph. It is advised that first time riders use this mode till they master the M10. After that you can choose between Eco and Sports Mode with top speed of 9 mph in Eco Mode and 20 mph in Sports Mode. I like the best Sports mode, but in Eco mode the battery will last longer.
Declared maximum range is 18 miles, but it depends on road conditions, rider’s weight, terrain etc. After the battery runs out of the juice you will need up to 5 hours to fully recharge the battery. Remember, it uses non-detachable battery pack meaning you will need to take the whole scooter in order to charge the battery. Sometimes it’s annoying. I prefer detachable batteries like at the Turboant X7 Pro.
Final Verdict
If you’re looking for a cheap, fun and reliable electric scooter with a low-maintenance, user-friendly setup, and ease of use the M10 is an excellent choice.
It has an attractive design, good stability and maneuverability, making it desirable scooter in the mid-range commuter class. It’s not a performance champion, but is very good when it comes to not being boring and riding really, really well. And all of that for the price of $449.98.
