In this review of the W Wallke X3 Pro folding fat tire electric bike we will dive deep into this popular 26-inch e-Bike. The W Wallke X3 Pro is in many ways a typical fat tire electric bike. It offers 26-inch tires, a powerful 750 W motor, and a full front and rear suspension. Also, this is fully foldable electric bike meaning it literally folds in half. So, after all, maybe it isn’t so typical.

Price
Since the W Wallke X3 Pro has some really great features, it is very sturdy and durable and features great design you may be thinking that the price is over $2K. But, this is not true. This bike costs around $1999 and I was pleasantly surprised. It is available on Amazon. Also, you can even lower the price if you use Honey extension for Google Chrome. You just need to create a Honey account and connect it to your Google Chrome and it will automatically give you lower price if possible, and if not just save it to a droplist and it will inform you when the price goes down. Honey extension saves me a lot of money each month.
W Wallke X3 Pro Design and Features
For the price of $1999, you’re getting a full-size fat tire e-bike with front and rear suspension, an internal battery, a 750W motor giving a speed of around 30 mph (48 km/h), dual disc brakes, and a 26-inch all terrain fat tires.
However, some corners were cut to make that price possible. While the front Premium AIR Fork suspension on the W Wallke X3 Pro is actually quite good, the rear (actually it’s a mid shock absorber placed bellow the seat) seems a bit stiff. This isn’t a high-end rear shock, and the difference is noticeable. But for casual riders, any rear suspension is a huge plus.
As I already said, 750W motor produces enough power for top speed of 30 mph, but it depends on riders weight (maximum load capacity is only 300 lbs), terrain, riding style etc. However, top speed of 30 mph is impressive. Also, it is equipped with a cruise control function that some may find useful.
This model is dual purposed urban/off-road electric bike, but intended mostly for urban areas and in most countries maximum allowed speed of electric bikes in urban areas is 15 mph. The brakes perform well. It is equipped with dual hydraulic disc brakes which will give you smooth stop.
Battery
A 750W motor is powered via 48 V 14 Ah Samsung Lithium battery. The good side of it is that you can travel up to 60 miles on a single charge, of course, this is when you use pedal assist. If you are riding it on throttle only mode maximum range drops fast and it is less than 40 miles on flat terrains. After that you will need to recharge the battery and it takes 5 to 7 hours. The battery is hidden inside the frame and it is removable, so when you need to recharge it just pull it out of the frame.
Cockpit and Display
I just liked its intuitive cockpit design and full color display standing in the very center as a focal point of your cockpit. But, let’s see what you get with the X3 Pro. Firts, as I already said you have full color LED display with all necessary info like a battery status, current speed, odometer, trip distance, speed mode etc. Also, it is password protected.
There are two brake handles, one on each side, left one is for front and right one for rear brake. Also, on the left side you will find a bell, ON/OFF button, light switch and a menu button grouped together. Right next to them stands a thumb throttle. On the right handlebar stands a phone holder and a gear shifter. Since this electric bike has an 8-speed Shimano derailleur you can use it as any other regular bike when the battery empties. This is very helpful when you ride it uphill.
Final Verdict
The W Wallke X3 Pro is a comfortable and cool looking electric bike, largely thanks to those fat tires and full-suspension setup (even with the stiff rear/middle shock absorber). Also, handlebar grips and saddle both feeling better than I expected.
The motor on the X3 Pro electric bike is performing in line with an expectations, it’s durable and battery holds nicely. It’s not blowing me away like Delfast Top 3.0 fat tire e-bikes, but it is comparable in power to other fat tire e-bikes in the $2,500 – $3,000 range.
Design is eye-catching and this model features aluminium alloy frame in several colors. I liked a lot matte black finish.
